Here you’ll find answers to the questions we’re most often asked about our handmade soy candles and reed diffusers, from burn times and candle care to postage, returns, and custom orders. 1. What are your candles made from?

All Inner Zen candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% natural soy wax, high-quality fragrance oils, and either cotton or wooden wicks. We never use paraffin, and our materials are vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-conscious. 

2. Are your candles safe?

Yes. Every candle is labelled with the required CLP (Classification, Labelling & Packaging) safety information. We also include a candle care guide with each order, so you can enjoy your candle safely and get the best burn.

3. How long do your candles burn?

• 4oz candles: 22+ hours
• 8oz candles: 44+ hours
  Burn times may vary slightly depending on the environment and care.

4. How much is postage?

Candles remain at £25 (8oz) and £15 (4oz), with a flat £3.50 postage per order (UK only).
This means you only pay postage once, whether you buy one or several candles. We continue to absorb part of the cost ourselves to keep our candles fairly priced and beautifully packaged.

5. Where do you ship?

Currently we ship to the UK only. Each order is carefully packaged in eco-friendly wrapping and either kraft or black gift boxes, complete with branded touches such as burlap bags, thank-you notes, and candle care cards.

6. How long will my order take?

Our ready-to-ship 5 Moods of Calm candles are dispatched quickly (within 2–3 days).
All other candles are made to order, and require 5–7 days curing before dispatch to ensure the best scent throw and burn quality. Delivery is via Royal Mail.

7. Do you offer returns or exchanges?

As candles are handmade, returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged or faulty. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery if there are any issues. We want you to feel completely happy with your Inner Zen candle.

8. Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes. Please contact us if you'd like your candle to be gift wrapped

9. Do you offer custom or bulk orders?

Yes. For weddings, events, or corporate gifting, we can create a bespoke package of candles or diffusers. Please contact us directly to discuss options.

10. How do I get the best out of my candle?

• Burn for 2–4 hours the first time to create an even melt pool.
• Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn.
• Never leave a candle unattended.
• Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
• Full candle care instructions are included with every order.
